Thirteen reasons Courtenay is a superhero nerd - courtesy of Pluckymama in response to last weeks Thu131. She can remember anything. She remembers watching her mobile in her crib 2. She had cat-like reflexes and can catch anything that’s flying towards her, even in her peripheral 3. She remembers all the programming stuff we learned in grade 12 4. she remembers all the German we learned in high school 5. she’s teaching herself French 6. She permed her hair…recently 7. she used to have braces with rubber bands all over the place 8. she puts her daughter in buzz light year clothing 9. she’s obsessed with buzz light year 10. she met me in band class 11. she dreams of frightening music stands 12. She’s very good at mimicking certain bird calls BEEYABOO YABI YABI YABI 13. Thirteen things that make me a nerd Last weeks overuse of the word Epic Star Wars Fan - I even have the toys, 2 3D puzzles, a remote control R2D2, SW Monopoly and Star Wars Lego the Game for PS2 I cross stitch - Super nerdy I know. I make lists for everything. I straighten movies at the movie store. Then mess them up again trying to prove I’m not AR. But then I can’t handle it and I fix them again. My love of Walmart. It’s a bit extreme. The Rubbermaid aisle is my home! I once read a whole book upside down just to prove I could. I won a reading contest this summer!! I still love Lego. I even made a jump drive for Morgan out of Lego. I really like arranging fruit in our huge fruit bowl. It’s my favorite thing to do after I get home from the grocery store. I take pictures of obscure inanimate objects. Anything that looks weird. I quote movies in every everyday conversations. “It fit so nice he said I could keep it” or “Is there anything on this menu thats not swimming in Gravy” I shout “Tuna” really loud in the store. Thirteen things I think are Epic! My new pea coat! Trilogies LOTR POTC Star Wars The Book “Epic” by John Eldridge. Awesome allegorical book, you should read it! Baby poop. It’s like a never ending Saga Black and white photos Sunsets The First Snowfall AKA YESTERDAY!! Orchestra Music Friendships Hamburger Helper Our Technology problems. AHHH My Haircut, but not really in a good Epic way.Bangs Bangs Bangs, Which are good, Which are bad. Bangs, Bangs, Bangs, Ask your mom or ask your dad! Kilsyth, Scotland. Thirteen things I do to kill time Read a book - Im somewhat of a book worm. Ok Im a total nerd about books. Play with Emily - That takes up all my time already. who needs to kill it. Make souffle - Well If I could I would Listen to Music - Currently I am a George Winston Fan. Slow and relaxing. Play Guitar - My new alternative to emotional Eating. Paint - Acrylic. Cause watercolor is not for me. Blog…duh I think thats pretty obvious. Playstation - Lego Star Wars 2! But its best played with Coco. Watch Tivo-ed Shows. There is something to be said to skipping comercials and never channel surfing ever! Bathe - Who doesnt these days. Its so practical to bathe. haha. Invent stuff in my head - inevitable someone gets their product out before mine. Seriously I invented upright staplers. Make up Limerics - There was a little girl, who had a little curl… Listen to the Clock as it ticks ticks ticks. - That literally kills time. and brain cells I think.
