Thirteen odd New years resolutions, I wont make…promise! Lose weight - be a size 0. HAHAHAHA Learn Calligraphy Write more reggae music Switch back to transfats - Enjoy your heart unhealthy eating habits. Let Emily be babysat by the TV. After all I deserve more time off from being a parent. Start Smoking, Drinking and maybe doing heroin. I’ve only got one life to live, why not screw it up. Watch more daytime TV and ignore Emily and Morgan. Sounds like a plan stan. Stop wearing deodorant. Or showering for that matter. Eat fast food for every meal. Saves time! Learn to Yodel! Or maybe belly dance. Start answering questions with monosyllabic answers. No need to waste your breath conversing with people. Join Second Life Online. Thirteen days until Christmas. - Here is the plan 13th - Have Satellite guy install Morgans Birthday Present. Have dinner in Williams Lake with Shelby and Dan and my Auntie Debbie. 14th - Church Christmas Party - Get Smart for Christmas! Im making a butt load of Mashed Potatoes. 15th - Try to get my house clean and do laundry on a slower day - Morgan is working weekends. 16th - Kids Christmas Service at Church - Always sooo cute and fun 17th - CCRR Community Christmas Dinner - We had so much fun last year we are going again. 18th - Morgans 40th(26th) Birthday - Going for a romantic dinner for 2 to one of our fave restaurants. 19th - Family Birthday Party dinner with my family - Morgan can hardly wait for layered salad, His favorite! 20th - I’m starting working on one of my school courses and I have worship practice 21st - Madly trying to finish shopping and getting stocking stuffers all wrapped and done. 22nd - More laundry and packing to go to the coast 23rd - Church - Playing on the worship team the week before Christmas is my fav. 24th - Drive to Vancouver. Hope Emily doesn’t scream all the way there. 25th - Jesus’ Birthday!! - Have cake, give presents, stockings, love the big family dinner and Morgan’s cousin Chris’s Birthday too. Thirteen tidbits of knowledge you need when you have a toddler Everything is edible. Whether it should be or not. Especially rocks. Poop comes in all shapes and colours. It is easily exchanged for crib painting. Just because your toddler couldn’t reach something last week does not guarantee an items safety on a shelf. Cheese and crackers in an acceptable lunch. but only sometimes. The meal that is the favorite today will be the hated meal tomorrow, but the favorite for the month after that. Crying is caused by 25% pain, 25% parents facial expression and 50% Drama Queen. Clothes look best on the floor and nothing can keep them from ending up there with a streaking toddler running by. Toddlers will only say the opposite grandparents name in front of the one who really wants their name said. Fact! The words “Oh Crap” will most definitely be repeated at Church along with any other fun things Mommy and Daddy shouldn’t have said. All Auntie’s and Uncle’s feel it is their right to teach said toddler embarrassing things to say. Bath water taste’s good…why?? Smile’s and the word’s “I yuv you Mommy” melt mommy’s heart even after a tantrum. Slobbery kisses are worth more than all the money in the world. Thirteen Reasons I’m excited for Christmas already Emily can already say Merry Christmas I love Happy Birthday-ing Jesus. I think I might make him a cake this year. I love baking at Christmas time. Hooray for my kitchenaid mixer I have a small band made out of little ornament animals and things with instruments. I add to it whenever I can. We bought tree awesome Christmas albums last year and I’m finally ready to listen to them again. Reliant K, Barenaked ladies, Diana Krall. Veggie Tales 8 Polish Christmas Dishes song!! I like sending out Christmas cards. People in the stores(not applicable to retail employees…seriously) act alot nicer. Emily is going to love Christmas so much more now that she is older. This puts decorations at risk, but I think I can hang alot of stuff. My advent calendar rules! Spending time with family is super fun. Sometimes strange(have you met my family??), but awesome none the less. Looking for all my Christmas decoration boxes in the basement mean my basement gets a bit cleaner.
