Elmo

Just wanted to add some more pics I took today. A friend told me about Sesame Workshop online, so I let play on their today with me. I’m not a big fan of media influencing Emily, but She wants to use the computer so badly so I figured 15 minutes wouldn’t make her crazy. It’s recommended that children under 2 not watch T.V. at all. Aside from in the car or occasionally at a friends house Emily doesn’t watch T.V. I can see how it would be so easy to just let her watch T.V all day. Her behavior is better and she needs less entertaining from me, but I realize that isn’t a good thing. She wouldn’t want me to read books all day long, which at first sounds exciting to have mommy time, but then when I think about it this is the best time for her to be learning language skills and reading. I want her to be a book worm. Its not the easy way to deal with things that’s for sure, but I think it will be worth it when she starts pre-school or kindergarten. Anyways. Here’s Emily wearing my headphones and watching Elmo tell her its ok to take a break from playing if you have to go potty. Its great because otherwise she wont sit still and my camera takes nicer pics if she would just hold still for 1 second!
