Jeudi Treize #6 (Thursday Thirteen)

 

Thirteen things that make me a nerd

  1. Last weeks overuse of the word Epic
  2. Star Wars Fan - I even have the toys, 2 3D puzzles, a remote control R2D2, SW Monopoly and Star Wars Lego the Game for PS2
  3. I cross stitch - Super nerdy I know.
  4. I make lists for everything.
  5. I straighten movies at the movie store. Then mess them up again trying to prove I’m not AR. But then I can’t handle it and I fix them again.
  6. My love of Walmart. It’s a bit extreme. The Rubbermaid aisle is my home!
  7. I once read a whole book upside down just to prove I could.
  8. I won a reading contest this summer!!
  9. I still love Lego. I even made a jump drive for Morgan out of Lego.
  10. I really like arranging fruit in our huge fruit bowl. It’s my favorite thing to do after I get home from the grocery store.
  11. I take pictures of obscure inanimate objects. Anything that looks weird.
  12. I quote movies in every everyday conversations. “It fit so nice he said I could keep it” or “Is there anything on this menu thats not swimming in Gravy”
  13. I shout “Tuna” really loud in the store. Thats just plain fun!

Great List - cross stitching is not nerdy … I have yet to finish the one I started 1 5yrs ago though

I like Lego too … can’t wait till my little boys get into lego.

13 reasons courtenay is a superhero nerd

1. She can remember anything. She remembers watching her mobile in her crib
2. She had cat-like reflexes and can catch anything that’s flying towards her, even in her periferal
3. She remembers all the programming stuff we learned in grade 12
4. she remembers all the german we learned in highschool
5. she’s teaching herself french
6. She permed her hair…recently
7. she used to have braces with rubber bands all over the place
8. she puts her daughter in buzz light year clothing
9. she’s obsessed with buzz light year
10. she met me in band class
11. she dreams of frightening music stands
12. She’s very good at mimicing certain bird calls BEEYABOO YABI YABI YABI
13. She doesn’t care about yelling tuna in a grocery store in the presence of hot males.
