Rainy Day

This week looks like it’ll be pretty busy. Kinda typical for our family.

We are having “The Awakening” this weekend, so I’m pretty excited about that. Its called “Record Breaking” so I went looking for records. The thrift store had oodles of them yay! But then the girl said they were a dollar each. Not yay. A buck for a record. I don’t think so. Not when the cardboard books I bought for Em were $0.25.  If I don’t find any other ones I’ll have to go back and get a couple. I think I might paint them. We’ll see how we do for time. I was going to get new labels made that said “The Awakening” on them and put one of the posters on the cover, but time is proving faster than the speed of my tasks list.

It’s raining today. We went for a bit of a walk anyways. I just need to get out of the house. We got a little soakey’ed but it was still a nice walk. Em was so bundled up she couldn’t move, but she liked it. Anyways. I should be working on stuff so I should get going. Maybe I’ll write more later.

Picture Days

It was a gorgeous day yesterday. So we decided not to waste it. Coco, Danielle, Emily and I walked around Sepa Lake. It was certainly not the best time we’ve ever made because Em insisted she walk most of the lake. I was all nerdy and made Emily wear her halloween costume just to take good pictures. On halloween we are having a party at the church called light up the night. I’m pretty stoked about that. It’s Pirate theme though so Em cant exactly show up as snow white. The good news is that she still fits her Pirate costume from last year so we are good to go. I got some good pictures from yesterday. I’m not sure why, but my computer is corrupting Jpeg’s. Most of my pics get all choppy and messed up. I’m not cool with that. So we’ll have to figure out why. Otherwise all of Ems baby pics are now distorted an funky. grr

Epic Day

It’s like 9 o’clock and I’m ready for bed. Well actually the clock is wrong on my computer so Its probably closer to 11, but I’m totally exhausted. We had a super long, super awesome day. Em stayed at Auntie Georgia’s and we went to Kamloops with Coco and Nathan and Danielle. We hit every weather imaginable including snow!!!!! YAY first snow! I am sooo snowboarding this year.While in kloops, I got a sweet present. I got the Jacket I had been looking at for like a month. Yay. Thank you present giving awesomes! I have been overusing the word Epic today. Mostly in reference to my Jacket. Its whats called a pea coat. I am learning new lingo for my apparel. haha.  Ill have to get pictures for you. I keep saying that, but honest I will now. I got the non piratey program I needed.

*Random thought. I’m wearing the headphones for the computer, but not listening to anything. strange??*

My French class went awesome. I answered all of my questions right. I never had to answer any of the hard ones though so that was good.  I am really looking forward to learning more next week. I’m still trying to work on my online class too. I was going to get a French English Dictionary today, but we ran out of time to get to staples.

Well anyways I had an awesome day today, but Im exhausted so Im going to bed. Bon nuit.

School’s In

My stuff hasn’t all gone through yet for school. Its taking forever. But I am taking a French Class Online and a Conversational French Class at Church. It starts tonight and I’m really excited about it!! Apparently last night in my sleep I spoke in French. Now even sleep talking is in French…Weird. I guess I was trying to be funny or something because I said “Swim et moi”. From Finding Nemo. Strange I know.

“Elle est Coco. Elle est mon professer. Je suis bon étudient. Je t’aime Français. Merci Coco mon professer. Mon ami.”( I wrote this without checking it, just with stuff I’ve learned recently. Then I checked it at babel fish and aparrently this is what I wrote.

“It is Coco. It is my to profess. I am good study. I love you French. Thank you Coconut my to profess. My friend.”

Not as witty as I was going for. This is what I meant to say”

“She is Coco. She is my Teacher. I am a good student. I love French. Thank you Coco. My Teacher, My Friend!”

So then I took those sentences to Babel fish and this is what it translated that to in French:

“Elle est coco. Elle est mon professeur. Je suis un bon étudiant. J’aime le français. Merci coco. Mon Professeur, Mon Ami!”

I really only messed up 2 words. I was pretty close. So anyways. YAY! for Coco teaching me French!
